Letter from 9 years old boy to NASA
Jack Davis, a 9-year-old fourth grader from New Jersey, who also goes by “Guardian of the Galaxy” decided to throw in his application in the form of a one-page letter, NASA announced in a news release Friday.
This week the space agency began looking for its new planetary protection officer ,someone capable of guarding the planet from ” microbial contamination from other planets.”
The kid doesn’t know that the job doesn’t really involve fighting the aliens in order to protect the Earth.
Letter by the kid follows in this manner-
August 3, 2017
My name is Jack Davis and I would like to apply for the planetary protection officer job. I may be nine but I think I would be fit for the job. One of the reasons is my sister says I am an alien also. I have seen almost all the space and alien movies I can see. I have also seen the show Marvel Agents of Shield and hope to see the movie Men in Black. I am great at vidieo games. I am young, so I can learn to think like an Alien.

Green reached out to jack, wrote letter to him. He explained that the organization is always looking for bright future scientists and engineers and said “we hope to see you here at NASA one of these days!”Green said in a statement that encouraging children to grow and learn is important.
He got a letter from NASA as a reply to his letter.
He also got a call from NASA’s planetary research director, Jonathan Rall, to congratulate him on his interest. At NASA, we love to teach kids about space and inspire them to be the next generation of explorers.
